SAMNET ran its third national and provincial election survey from 21 to 28 April 2024, to understand public views and perceptions ahead of the elections.

All South Africans were invited — registered and unregistered voters, of all ages — and readers were asked to pass the link to friends, family, colleagues and community groups, so that the picture would be national rather than narrow.
The survey was anonymous, hosted on SurveyMonkey, and took eight to twelve minutes. Demographic information was collected for research purposes only. Results were made available before the May 2024 elections.
