SAMNET’s advocacy work is the part that rarely makes the news: legislative submissions, regulatory complaints, research, and the slow business of getting an institution to change how it behaves.
It spans public health, ethics and accountability, the safety and organisation of our institutions, and the rights and dignity of South African Muslims. Much of it is done over years rather than weeks, and most of it is done out of public view.
