Interim analysis
An interim reading of the responses received so far shows two findings worth putting in front of the community before the poll closes.
- 30% of respondents intend voting but have not yet decided who to vote for.
- Almost 50% of the public have participated in at least one march, demonstration, rally or protest in the last four years.
The first figure matters because it means a very large share of the vote was still genuinely open in the final weeks of the campaign. The second matters because it shows a community that is willing to act publicly on issues it cares about — and that engagement outside the ballot box is not a substitute for the ballot box, but runs alongside it.
