First it was Wagyu, now olive oil — the South African agricultural sector is among the world’s leaders.
There is a case buried in these stories that we do not make often enough: agriculture is a serious, high-skill, internationally competitive career path, and it sits directly on top of the food security question this country cannot avoid. Young people choosing what to study should be able to see it.
