SAMNET has worked with the public, civic organisations and the IEC for more than eighteen years to raise awareness of the election process and increase political participation.
Our current focus is youth registration — the aim being simple and measurable: every student a registered voter before leaving school. Whether a person chooses to vote, and who they vote for, is theirs to decide later. Without registering, they do not get to decide at all.
Register or check your registration on the IEC website → Free, uses no data, and takes about five minutes on a phone.
