DGMT’s Alcohol Harms Reduction campaign convened the Rethink Your Drink Business Breakfast — a conversation on the Liquor Amendment Bill and what it would actually do.
Hosted by the author and social commentator Fred Khumalo, the discussion unpacked the proposed changes: stricter advertising regulation, adjusted trading hours, and a higher minimum purchase age. An expert panel examined the Bill’s implications for public health, gender-based violence, child protection and economic policy.
