Children and women are always the most vulnerable in war.
The South African Muslim Network joins the calls for an immediate end to the fighting in Sudan. The safety and the future of these children and women must be a priority.
It is worth saying plainly why this post exists. Attention is finite, and Sudan has repeatedly fallen out of it — not because the scale is smaller, but because it is covered less. Solidarity that only follows the news cycle is not solidarity.
