    An agnostic Jew, Ms. Lesley Hazleton gives a powerful talk about her account of the Prophet Muhammed, his humanness and the Holy Quran.

    “The Quran is infinitely more subtle than many people can think to imagine. The phrase ‘God is subtle’ appears several times in the Quran… It contains the awareness that things can’t be stated directly. The Divine cannot be stated correctly. The Divine is beyond direct human apprehension. It can only be expressed through metaphor.”

  • Survivor campaign 2019

    The South African Muslim Network and the Caring Sisters Network in collaboration with Salaamedia hosted two international activists and survivors. They visited South Africa to tell us about their real life experiences living in war torn countries, Yemen and Kashmir.

    Professor Najeeb Ali Al-Soudi spoke about the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, the current affairs of the region and how starvation is used as a weapon of war.

    A Kashmiri journalist, Ruwa Shah, highlighted the Indian army occupation in Kashmir and the crimes that they commit to the detriment of Kashmiri people.
