  • Mr. Makhathini – APPOINTMENT AS SABC CHAIRPERSON

The South African Muslim Network (SAMNET) congratulates you on your appointment as Chairperson of the SABC Board. There are, however, many concerns and issues that our community has regarding the SABC, including a real perception that the SABC has a very anti-Muslim bias in its entertainment and current affairs content. We would like to meet with you when next you are in Durban. We look forward to positive engagement between ourselves and Board and management in the interest of sticking to the mandate of the SABC to deliver unbiased content in the interests of all South Africans.

  • ADV. B.T. BONGO

The South African Muslim Network (SAMNET) congratulates you on your appointment as Minister of a very important portfolio with the security and stability of the country at its core.
The Muslim community is well aware of various agendas including drawing South Africa into the “war on terror.” We condemn unreservedly the attacks and bombings of civilians purportedly carried out by ISIS (ISIL) and we believe that those responsible and those behind them need to be apprehended and punished within the framework of international law.
There is also strong evidence to suggest that many of these attacks going back to 9/11 may be false flag operations and we are very concerned that such an operation may be carried out in South Africa to promote nefarious agendas.
We would like to meet with you when you are in Durban.

  • MR. BRENDON GRACE: WINNER – NEDBANK GOLF CHALLENGE

The South African Muslim Network congratulates you on winning the Nedbank Golf Challenge 2017.
It is high time that a South African won “Africa’s Major.”
We look forward to watching your growth and success and we wish you well with your future endeavours.
