  • IRAQ – HALABJA EARTHQUAKE

    The South African Muslim Network is deeply saddened by the devastation and loss of life caused by the earthquake that occurred on 13th November 2017.
    We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to all the victims of the disaster to the deceased, the injured and the bereaved alike.
    Our thoughts and prayers are with the Iraqi people and all those affected by this tragedy.

  • MR. EBRAHIM OSMAN

    The South African Muslim Network (SAMNET) management and staff convey our sincere regrets and condolences to the Osman family on the passing away of Mr. Ebrahim Osman.
    Mr. Osman was an inspiration to many and has left a legacy that will forever be remembered as a man committed to his principles, of high moral standing yet humble in his manner with a passion to uphold the values, rights and principles of all.
    Our best tribute to him would be to support his commitment to the principles he stood for and to continue to support his legacy.
    Words cannot heal the pain of losing someone so dear. We pray Allah give you the strength to overcome the pain and grant the deceased Janaat-ul- Firdous and give your family Sabr-e-Jameel in sha Allah.

  • MOGADISHU BOMBING

    The South African Muslim community send its profound condolences to the Somali people, friends and family of those killed and injured during the attack in Mogadishu on Saturday, 14th October 2017.
    We pray for a speedy recovery for all those injured and may Almighty God bless all those killed and grant them the highest stages of Heaven.
    We hope that the perpetrators of this heinous act will be uncovered and those behind them exposed, tried and face due process and the legal punishments due to them.
    Our thoughts and prayers are with the Somali people and all those affected by this tragedy.
