CONDOLENCES – SOUTH AFRICAN RENOWNED AND ANTI-APARTHEID ACTIVIST,
    AUTHOR ACHMAT DANGOR

The South African Muslim Network (SAMNET) is deeply saddened by the demise of Brother Achmat Dangor. His voice will forever live on through his many great publications.

We join all South Africans in mourning the loss of a great political activist and prolific author who played a significant role in opposing Apartheid and advancing non-racialism in our country.
The freedoms we enjoy today are due to the struggles made by the brave people like Achmat, who did not make headlines as others did, but played no less an active role in contributing towards our
    democracy.

We convey our sincere condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Achmat Dangor.
